Wyoming quarterback Austyn Carta-Samuels was named the Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year Tuesday.
Senior defensive lineman John Fletcher was the only Cowboys player to make the First Team All-Conference squad.
Sophomore linebacker Brian Hendricks and junior safety Chris Prosinski made the Second Team.
