UW’s next two opponents

Wyoming’s final two regular-season opponents are Air Force Tuesday in Laramie and at UNLV Saturday. Those two teams played at Air Force yesterday. Here are articles from papers in Colorado Springs and Las Vegas on that game.

Cowboys’ losing streak now up to eight after a 74-64 loss Utah yesterday. Pokes didn’t play too bad, but I guess that’s what it has come down to now.

Freshman guard Desmar Jackson continues to impress (31 points against Utah). But he can’t do it alone.

Big game today for the Cowgirls as they host Utah. See Monday’s Wyoming Tribune Eagle for more on that one.

Things are so horrific with the Wyoming University mens basketball team that the WTE has dropped putting stories about them on their site. Thankfully the end is near — just ten days away — as this horrible 9-22 squad calls it a season and heads in many different ways. Shroyer will be back but on a short leash. Hopefully Burman will not be as he been shown to be less than competent and not capable of leading the school back to its past years of excellence.

      Hi Mark,

We haven’t dropped putting UW men’s basketball stories on our Web site. We don’t put all of our local stuff up there and with a heavy dose of state and regional high school stuff we didn’t put the Cowboys’ gamer with Utah there. But becasue the team is struggling certainly led to that decision. Wish we could put all of our local content on our Web site but that likely won’t happen any time soon.

Thanks for the comment and interest. It’s always appreciated.
