As I type this the teleconfernece is still going on and about 20 minutes long.
MWC Commissioner Craig Thompson said expansion talk in the league is done for a while, and he doesn’t expect anyone else to leave the MWC.
Thompson said there was no one out there the MWC wanted but couldn’t get, nor is there anyone out there the MWC wants or wants to pursue.
Utah’s BCS accomplishments will carry over to the Pac-10. Utes will play in the Pac-10 in 2011.
Thompson still feels the MWC can get to automatic qualifying status in BCS over the next two years without Utah and with Boise State.
Texas’ stance and doings in all the expansion stuff changed things for a lot of schools, Thompson said.
Wyoming athletics director Tom Burman issued a statement via e-mail. UW didn’t not allow access to its coaches on this.
MWC one of four conferences with no penalties for teams that leave.

I think the MWC should take a look at adding Houston and SMU. If they can land both they should also get Nevada, but not Nevada w/out the others.
