–Dalton, Kerley and Reynolds were the only unanimous picks.

–Every team was represented

–Nine of the 12 defensive players were Second Team All-MWC picks last season.

–The offensive line consisted of players from the top three teams in the preseason poll.

Hey Robert, I am having trouble getting the online webcasts of the Media Days. Do you know if they are having problems with the webcast?? It keeps saying it isn’t available? Thanks!

    • rgagliardi says:

I haven’t heard of any problems. Interviews for the live webcast begin in about 15 minutes. It might not be live until then.

AHHH!!! Thanks! Central Time Zone screwed me up. Thanks Robert!! Go get em! Go Pokes!

  3. Carl Garneferetti says:

I think you sportswriters got it right for the most part, but I would think CSU & SDS will be a little better than what is being forecast, and BYU and Wyoming may not be quite as good. I think the top two and bottom two schools are dead on right, but the middle five will end up different than what you and your colleagues are forecasting.

    • rgagliardi says:

      Hi Carl,

You could be right on all accounts. If CSU can get some good quarterback play, and CSU and SDSU get better play on both lines then they both could surprise.

The middle five could be a jumbled mess by season’s end. But it sure is fun to talk and write about.

Thanks for your interest and comments. Take care. — RG

  4. DMC says:

Why do the “pickers” think AF is going to beat the POKES? We should have beat them last year. I pick Wyoming beating Air Force by 10 and knocking off Utah in Laramie.

    • rgagliardi says:

While every game is important, that one and the Utah game in Laramie could be swing games in how the season goes for Wyoming.

Good comment. Thanks for your interest — RG
