I’m back to rodeo mode here at Cheyenne Frontier Days. But before the action begins I did some looking around and found these stories you might be interested in.

    Robert…just a quick question. Have you heard if the Cowboy uniforms are going to be much different this year? Or are they going to be the exact same Nike uniforms as last year. Personally, I always liked the all Gold uniforms. Those were awesome. Also, not a question but a comment…I noticed on the gallery for the new WildCatter suites that they changed the ‘Prairie Gold” back to the Gameday Gold on the turf. Thank goodness!!! It looks great. One of the worst decisions made by the previous AD to change to that Praire Gold. I wonder what the Hawkeye fans would think if he changed their Gold to Prairie Gold??? I am from Iowa and I am confident they wouldn’t like that. Thanks!

      Hi Joe,

      When I was at MWC Football Media Day in Vegas I asked a UW official if there was going to be a uniform change and he said no. They will be the same as last year with Nike being the supplier. The uniforms they brought to media day were just like the home ones from last year. There is some word there may be a uniform change, but I have not heard anything official. If so, I can’t imagine it would be drastic because they re-painted the field with Gameday Gold, along with a lot of that in the suites area. Wouldn’t make much sense to go a different direction with uniforms if they’ve already done that.
      Now, there could be something in the works for some special uniforms, like a throw-back or something like that. If I hear anything I will let you know.

      I’ve never got wrapped up in uniform colors and changes, but like you, I do like the Gameday Gold better. Hey, as long as Wyoming wins it can wear whatever it wants, right?
