Colorado, Utah not good enough for Pac-10?

Check out this article from the San Francisco Examiner http://www.sfexaminer.com/sports/Dickey-Latest-additions-to-Pac-10-Conference-not-all-positive-101138474.html

And many of you may have heard or seen this, but here’s how the BYU to the WAC deal fell through. … at least to this point. Still no official news. But this is an interesting read. http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/sports/50175456-77/wac-byu-albrecht-benson.html.csp?page=1

Typical trite trash from Chronicle columnists. Dickey and Ratso always seem to have a big burr in their saddles and axes to grind. I have read them in the past and usually was disgusted. Thank goodness Gagliardi you are not that jaded yet. It must be the traffic, the seagulls, the pigeons, bad Chinese food, the Golden State Warriors, and Raiders fans.

The Pac 10 moves into the media markets of Salt Lake City and Denver (31 and 16 in media market ratings) and they are complaining? They should just be thankful they are not getting BYU and the no Sunday and no age limit clause to deal with.

Hi Mark, good to hear from you.

Yeah, I found that odd, too. I know academics are big and should be but I found that to be pretty harsh.

I think if the Pac-10 wanted BYU it would have got them. AD Tom Holmoe said earlier this summer the Pac-10 simply didn’t want BYU with all of its issues.

Sounds more like BYU will try independence in football. Don’t know where that will lead it.

Thanks again for the comment Mark. Hope to hear back from you as the season progresses.
