UW-Texas State what to watch for

My No. 1 item for Wyoming to have success Saturday against Texas State:

Defensive improvement: The Cowboys have to play better at all 11 positions. Fans are already losing patience with this unit after giving up 541 yards last week to Weber State. A particular area of interest will be in the secondary.

    McBride always enjoys getting under Wyoming fan’s skins, however based on each team’s week 1 performance, it’s tough to argue with him. Wyoming will get their chance to prove him wrong.

        I read the banter back and forth between Mcbride and his counterpart.
        Really, heres the bottom line. Losers on both ends. On a good note, for the beehiver’s- one team may come out the victor, and I would not be floored if it was Weber State.

        The youth of this Cowboy team is both its strength and weakness. Cowboy critics will always find something to complain about, the coaching staff will have them prepared and the boys need to play and not listen to the critics. It always cracks me up watching blow hards talk about moving players around and speculating about this/that/ and the other.

        Bottom line is we as a program are moving in the right direction, We are more athletic, more skilled, faster, have better recruits, a great Offensive coordinator, a no-nonsense Coach, a fabulous young QB…and a 2-0 start after this afternoon. So, critique aside- the Defense will vastly improve today against a run oriented offense and I speculate a great team effort in preparation for BGSU next week.

        How bout a W-Y-O.
