Three linemen commit to UW football

Three linemen — two offensive and one defensive — have verbally committed to the Wyoming football program.

The offensive linemen are Nathan Leddige (6-foot-6, 285 pounds) from Southridge High in Beaverton, Ore., and Chase Roullier (6-4, 290) from Burnsville High in Burnsville, Minn.

Sam Hardy (6-3, 270) from Chaminade High in West Hills, Calif., is the defensive lineman.

To date UW has verbal commitments from four offensive linemen and four defensive linemen. It also signed offensive tackle Connor Rains (6-7, 320) from American River (Calif.) Community College, who enrolled in school last week.

For more on the newest verbal commitments, see Tuesday’s Wyoming Tribune Eagle and Laramie Boomerang.

UW looks to be hitting the states of California and Washington hard this year. Including three mid-year signees and the current list of verbal commitments, five are from California and four from Washington.

There are two from Minnesota and one each from Kansas, Oregon, Texas, Australia and Germany.

  1. Do we know anything about the big lineman out of Lovell who was roumored to be receiving interest from FBS schools that have a higher national profile than the University of Wyoming? Unfortunately I do not know his name.

    • Not hearing anything on him now. Didn’t he of far glowing reviews of him from the state championships. Could emerge however in the coming days.
