Wyoming’s football coaching staff threw a lot of new offense and defense at the players during Wednesday’s fifth practice of spring drills.
And on this day, it appeared the defense got the best of the offense.
“I’m seeing some signs of guys getting adjusted to our system,” first-year coach Craig Bohl said. “We put quite a bit in on offense and defense, especially pressures and blitzes, and that slowed some things with our offense.”
Bohl said he was pleased with the progress in the punt game. UW has mostly worked on punt protection and punt blocking so far this spring, but special teams coach A.J. Cooper said more areas of special teams will be worked on as spring progresses.
