UW-UNLV key to the game

WyoSports senior editor Robert Gagliardi’s key to the game for the Wyoming football team today at UNLV:

Avoid the big play: Talking about the defense here. Wyoming can’t allow UNLV to score on big plays, whether they are from the run or pass games. This remains a problem for the Cowboys after 10 games. Coaches need to do a better job of putting players in the right positions to make plays, and the players have to do a better job of executing.

UW-New Mexico key to the game

WyoSports senior editor Robert Gagliardi’s key to the game for Wyoming today at New Mexico:

Play keep away: New Mexico leads the nation in time of possession at 34 minutes, 15 seconds per game and held the ball for more than 41 minutes last week. Wyoming has to win that battle. It can’t allow New Mexico to wear its defense down with its option-run game. The Cowboys need to score when they can, but ideally they do it with long, methodical drives.

What do you think, folks? Yes, no, this guy is nuts?
