Wyoming at Boise State live chat replay

Here the replay from my live chat from the University of Wyoming’s 24-14 loss at Boise State in front of 35,565 at Albertsons Stadium Saturday night in Boise, Idaho.

UW fell to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in the Mountain West. Boise State improved to 5-2, 3-0, and  outscored the Cowboys 21-7 in the second half.

With the late kickoff, all of the coverage from Saturday’s game will be online at wyosports.net.

  1. #28 needs to man up. Seems to avoid hits instead of initiating. I am almost 50 and haven’t played in 30 years, but feel I am more willing to make a hit then #28 is.

    • #28 had 15 tackles and nine solo stops. Not saying he couldn’t have played better, but he’s an All-America candidate and one of the top tacklers in the country since he was a freshman. Just saying.

    • Man, I am just not seeing the same #28, Andrew Wingard, Mr. Matthews is talking about. Opposing teams and their quarterbacks are saying he will be in the NFL in the future.

He is in the same mold as Chris Prosinski, John Wendling, Brian Rich, Alan Duyn, Arron Kyle.

But, shoot, am getting older and my eyesight isn’t as good as it
used to be. Maybe I missed a play or two. Still think Wingard is the best safety I have seen in 60 years at Wyoming.
